RITA SLOMPO
Master of Architecture, Griffith University
Architecture & Urban Planning, UNESP, Brazil
Lighting Designer
Building Biologist
With up to eight years of experience in her private practice as a fully qualified architect in Brazil, Rita holds several awards on both residential and commercial fields. In Australia, she graduated from a Masters of Architecture in 2015 and has been practicing as a senior interior designer since then.
Following her passion for alternative solutions and a more holistic approach to design, she has undertaken a specialisation in Building Biology with Allan Lopes, one of the most globally respected professionals within this field at the moment.
Rita is also a lighting designer and loves furniture design and researching innovative new materials. For her, a house should reflect the personality and soul of its residents, as well as a commercial space should transmit its values and character to its target market.
Rita loves sports, cats, traveling, new tastes and blues.
"If you think good design is expensive, you should look at the cost of bad design"
